I NEED YOUR HELP!

So I heard that there is a course offered at a university or college that focuses on Stargate. First off, does anyone know if this is true or false?
If it is true, does anybody know where this is offered? Or who the professor is?
Why you ask? Well I am currently working on a Stargate related project and would love to know if this could somehow fit into what I am doing. Vague enough for you? Lol.
I hope everyone is doing well... I am currently editing the back half of the Season 10 and season 3 DVD Special Features...
Well I must run, but any info would be very helpful... even if it is "Nope, never heard of it." (I'm not sure how that would be helpful, but you get the picture.)
Cheers,
Ivon

Sorry - can't help. Some of the stuff could be part of a physics course. Tried tracing a UK course for you, but found a site that was having a SALE and I got totally sidetracked. Such is life. Susan. Happy New Year or Hogmanay - the Scots REALLY know how to celebrate New Year (except me - I am boring).
You may want to check out this thread http://forum.gateworld.net/showthread.php?t=38775 - you may find something of use there
I found a posting from Whistler84 on GateWorld that says she, and a co-educator, will be teaching a DeCal class, at Berkeley. Based on the blog dates, the DeCal class would have been taught starting January 2006. The subject was " 'Feminism in Science Fiction,' which was to range (from) TV shows, movies, to books." (whew!)
Here's the web address for the first page: http://forum.gateworld.net/showthread.php?t=18322&page=1. The topic continues for 8 pages.
Also mentioned is a DeCal class taught many many years ago at Berkeley about Stargate, no references to when it was taught...............only that it was well received.
On a wild search, I found a Science Fiction Studies publication, from DePauw University, that mentions a Physics 21 class @ Temple University that includes the Stargate movie as one of several movies discussed that combines science, science fiction and film. (I found the listings more fun to read than anything else......!)
I've heard of high school teachers using characters and physics from Stargate to make a point, but no direct links. Wish I could be more helpful!
umm...

LOL Google it...
I am pretty sure it was a class at U. Washington in Seattle that was given about two years ago.
I can just imagine going for a job interview and reciting your qualifications. The look on the panel's faces would be a picture when you told them that you have a degree in "Stargate and Stargate Atlantis".
Just in case you didn't find the information, here it is.
The anonymous poster was right. The class is/was CHID 496G, "Stepping Through the Stargate: Applied Ethics with a Kwoosh." You can find the information at http://depts.washington.edu/chid/focusgroup.php (near the bottom).
Hope all is well.
Saw that you're working on the next DVD sets...
SGA fans would LOVE more SGA actors to do commentaries (and not SG1 actors who don't appear on the show). Why not wrangle David Nykl (Zelenka) and Kavan Smith (Lorne) to help out?
And we'd love deleted scenes and bloopers, if the latter is at all possible.
