Sitting with my sister's dog Lil Rufus... he's sad because his best friend Lilly went missing a few weeks ago. It's the saddest thing to see and animal that's depressed... so sad. I had the greatest week. I met incredible people. I became friends with the invenor of the Fischer Space Pen... so cool... NASA mang..... love him. Oh, and I found out today that I just got a lead in a new show... can't tell you any more right now.... but good times, and the role is really fun too.
Tomorrow I'm going to help my sister get ready for her trip to arizona ( www.burningman.com ). I didn't plan far enough in advance to go this year but I declare that I WILL go to the magical event next year. so exciting. Rufus says... who cares, I want Lilly. I know Rufus. So do we. It's not your fault. you didn't do it...
Going to my favorite store to shop at when I'm in LA... YAY!!! I'm vein and love clothes...lol
You know what's strange? There's no SmartCars in LA... with all these cars, you'd think there would be. I dunno.

Great to see you actively posting more or less daily! And i completely understand the excitement with a puppy waiting to poo. I got a puppy back in march, German Shepherd, he's a big boy now, took us about a week to get him properly trained. So good luck to you :)

Man, since you don't have tivo in Canada, you should get a Mac, a ginormous display, an EyeTV unit and a massive harddrive. Then you can pause it just like a tivo and you could even record it to the massive harddrive! Great stuff :)
Of course, that setup is a bit more expensive than a tivo, but, there are no subscription fees.

Rainbow - don't worry about being cool, as since you're a Champloo fan, you automatically get cool points. Geneon does have some of the run out on DVDs, and that way they aren't censored like the Adult Swim ones are (which I don't generally mind, except at the end of Artistic Anarchy when censoring the ukiyo-e painting of Fuu makes the comments about her cleavage a bit unclear). Plus, then you get to choose between hearing the ubiquitous Steve "too many aliases" Blum as Mugen and his seiyuu Nakai Kazuya, who equally rules. Trust me, having seen the fansubs, it only gets better. (g) For all things Champloo, you might want to check out Amalgam at http://www.spookhouse.net/angelynx/comics/amalgam.html . BTW, I know Cree does voice acting (I remember seeing her name on a Hello Kitty DVD I was shelving at work, and got a kick out of it) - have you considered doing that as well?

TiVo is awesome and I was a big supporter until I discovered Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. It's basically a PC hooked up to your tv. It has pretty much all of the functionality of TiVo AND a normal PC in one. What I like about it is that I can add storage space as needed and can also record HDTV (only over the air but expecting an update to record HDTV over cable soon). You can't do that with a normal TiVo. MCE also has many smaller features that TiVo never will. I think it's also available in Canada, another plus over TiVo.
Anyway, I love the fact you're posting pictures. I hope to see more.

Fiji sold everyone in my home. As soon as you announce the breed, well, we may just go shopping.
Webmaster Darren also has a TiVo, but I never know when he's using it. I almost ruined SG-1 for him the other night because Stupid Ignorant David failed to realize that he was not watching on schedule so he could zip through commercials. I don't know if I'll ever like the dang things.

No TiVO in Canada?
Errr... That's odd. I clearly remember sitting in my friend's place in Ottawa, watching TV, pausing it, checking out the program guide, scheduling stuff to record, etc.
And in front of me was a box. With a TiVO logo on it. :)
Personally though, I just use a PC with some stuff from SnapStream (http://www.snapstream.com/) - got it hooked up to a 27" flat panel TV and all is good.
One problem that PVRs don't solve however is the general LACK of anything good on television. *sigh*

Like Jason typed - Windows Media Center is a good substitute for Tivo, I think (of course, I've only used that and never TIVO, so what do I know). Of course if you have a mac, than that won't really help you at all.
You were great in Runner, and I can't wait to see the next part of the arc. Congrats on the new gig - I can't wait to hear about/see it!

SmartCars aren't sold in the states right now. they have to work something out with ... LA, i think, oddly enough, before they can sell them there. my family has one and the reactions we got in Pennsylvania were hilarious. people stopped in the middle of the road, cottage country mind you, to get out and tell us how awesome our car was.

I'm in agreement with the others here regarding Ford's arc this season. He actually has one. Or maybe it can't really be called an arc if it's a sudden switch from good to bad. That's all right, though. Buffy did it all the time and it worked for them. I find evil Ford more interesting than good Ford, anyway. Good work on the being really creepy and scary, of course that wonderful wraith eye helps.

That is very sad that Lily has gone missing. Dogs tend to weigh their emotions on us easier for some reason...it just makes you feel just as bad as they do. I've a long haired Dachsund (Oscar Meyer the Wiener) that is about 3 years old and lost his "mentor", a border collie named Sapphire just a week ago. Oscar will not eat and just sits on the couch attentively waiting for Sapph to come home. no worries though.
I'm glad to hear of the new show Opportunity! Keep us Up to Speed on that! It's always fun to get a few little trickles of inside info every now and then ;)

I'm continuing the Save Aiden Ford Project anyway (along with the petition) unless you want me to end it. That's entirely up to you. We'll keep working as hard as we can until there's no hope. I don't know what's going on for Season 3, we're hoping for Ford's return, but we'll just have to see the outcome of Season 2. Of course you know it. :P However, the F.O.R.D. will keep going forever. :)

This is a little off topic, but anyway... I just spent a week in Montreal (i know it's not your part of Canada) but what is up with that place? I felt like I was in France. When I made it clear that I really didn't understand French, they finaly deigned to speak to me in English. I was like, "sorry mate, I wasn't raised to be wonderfully bilingual like you and your fellow Quebecois. I know you speak Anglaise, so humor the poor tourist, capiche?" But other than that, Canada is a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing place. I'm curious about your views on Quebec and the Quebecois. And what do you non-Quebec Canadians think?
btw, Montreal ROCKED! The botanical gardens are to die for, the biodome is awesome, and climbing Mont-Royal to see that incredible view was unbelievable!!!

On a not so different note...what breed is Fiji? I cant really tell, he's adorable though. Good to hear he's training well, sometimes that can be a hassle.
