Some little things please

Big technological advances are great. They're why I can write this blog, and mean I can watch programmes like Stargate. Thank goodness for science.
But I've got enough big technological advances in my life now. I don't need any more.
I want some little technological advances please. I want a button in the lift (US translation: elevator) that lets you un-select a floor when you've pushed a button by mistake. A screen on the microwave that shows you cartoons while you wait those agonisingly long two minutes. And a way of taking out individual incorrectly typed auto complete entries in my web browser, without having to empty my entire history folder.

Mum wants a button on my dad to make him be quite and listen when she talks to him :-P
Mal...there is actually a movie coming out about thhat!!! :-)
Gipsy...you are so funny!! I want a button in my car that *flings* all oher cars out of my lane up ahead....don't they know I have to be at work...sheesh.
Ohhhhhh how I wish for that cartoon in the mircrowave!! while you wait those 9 mins for the pasta to cook!!
Query? were you at P1? Just reading the back log.....it was a good con. I did Gmex aswell (and considering I'm kent based that week was fun!)

If P1 means Pegasus then sadly no, I wasn't. In the past I would have brought a ticket to a Wolf con as soon as it was announced but sadly now that Baby G is on the scene I'm more limited. The same with Gmex. I can't believe Michael was here, in England, and I didn't get to see him. Oh well, the little one is recompense enough :)
Whereabouts in Kent (if you don't mind me asking)? I know it fairly well. Family members and friends in Dartford and Gravesend, and Canterbury. Husband was born in Erith, and the inlaws are in Woolwich. Plus have a friend in Rochester. I'm in South East London.
