Earworms

Do you have an earworm? One of those nasty little tunes that gets stuck in your head and just won't leave? I've had one my whole life just about. Whenever things get quiet in my head, Elton John and Kiki Dee pop up singing 'Don't go Breaking my heart'. The next most likely tune to pop up is the theme music to Stargate (in fact, that ran through my head nearly the whole time I was in labour, interspersed with the occaisional Bob Marley 'One Love'). However, if you live in the UK, and have cable/digital/satellite, it is quite likely your earworm will go something like 'for bonza car insurance deals, just get on to Sheila's Wheels'.

Yep, sure do....although I can't say that I have the same one for too long. Usually it is just an annoying song that gets stuck in my head for a day or two....at worst a week or two.

It usually is something like..."If I Only Had A Brain" , "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead", or some irritating song they keep playing over and over on the radio like "Crazy"...I'm not certain if this is an old song or a new song, but it seems like 'crazy' is the only word in the song. Let's see what else...well I don't want to think too heavily on it, that would just drive me "crazy" to have all these little tunes going back in forth in my wee little head. I guess it really just depends on the moment and what has triggered a particular song.

LOL I don't know if it is the same song but I now have 'Crazy, I'm crazy for feeling so bluuuue. Crazy, I'm crazy for losing you.'

Or at least I think that's the words. That's what's in my head anyway.
