Life on Mars

Gasp, despite being a huge resounding success,
Life on Mars is going to end after two seasons! Well good for them for sticking to their guns I guess. Any Americans reading this, I would heartily recommend downloading (that is, I would recommend downloading it except that is illegal so don't do it) and watching this show. It is one of the best things to hit the BBC in ages.
Well I have been about, but I've not been able to post. For the last week I've just been too exhausted and my evenings have been spent working. My apologies. And I suspect that there's a fair few new folks out there who don't have the foggiest idea who I am!
The 18th of October. That's the day the new, and possibly last, season starts in the UK. I'm having a party with nearest and dearest Stargate friends. I have avoided spoilers to an incredible degree this year - more so than any other year! My greatest and deepest thanks to the rest of the mod team for letting me skip the latest episode threads.
I also saw, at last, Michael Shanks' CSI Miami episode. Pfffooaarrr. Wow. I didn't realise it was that episode. I caught it purely by accident. My step daughter was staying and she likes CSI:Miami - it isn't my favourite. So I was only half watching, and thinking hmmmm that's a tasty looking fellow, hmmmmm very tasty, hmmmm he looks a lot like Michael Shanks. Then the camera pans to a view from behind. Oh yes, I'd recognise that rear view anywhere! It wasn't a bad episode, and my only real complaint is that there wasn't enough Michael in it :) To think I first started watching CSI: Las Vegas because Jonathan Glassner was involved. Doesn't the Stargate connection get everywhere?
