Three thirty in the morning is a strange time to be wide awake. It still feels like night time, not the dawn of a brand new day feeling you get at four thirty. Sky Two showed Endgame. I made myself a big thermos mug of tea, some honey and toast, and snuggled down on the sofa to watch. First time around I never really paid much attention to this episode. Seasons 7 and 8 don't hold that much appeal for me, I never recorded the episodes and I never re-watched them. I think I was mistaken.

Maybe it was the loneliness of the hour, and watching Jack, Daniel, Sam and Tealc was like being in the company of old friends, or maybe it was just because I was in a happy frame of mind, but darn it I enjoyed this episode. Jack and Daniel banter, action Sam and Tealc with lines. And on a shallow note, Daniel looked rather good in this episode - lots of bicep action. Phoar.

EG came to stay for a week - she is one of the first people I met through the fandom and we've been friends ever since. We had a lovely time, catching up, watching lots of NCIS, and it wasn't until the end of the week that we realised we'd not watched one episode of Stargate or had a single stargate conversation. Yikes! Still at least it answers a question we were all asking ourselves in Season 5 when they first mooted the idea of ending the series - there is life after Stargate!

And a slap over the wrist for Mags, who disappeared. Although she is sure she told us she was going to the US, EG and I are sure she didn't. The only trip I knew about was the one to Australia. Friends worry - especially when the last time we talked she complained about a possible chest infection. Was on the point of ringing hospitals in the area!

Baby G has a new word, flower. It is his longest yet *proud mum beams*

I won the lottery. Er no I didn't. Imagine getting something that only two percent of the population has, and getting a version of it that only six percent of that two percent have, and it *isn't* winning the lottery! How unfair is that. The rheumotologist confirmed last Friday I have psoriatic arthritis, so there you go. I may disappear for a bit offline now and again, but I've been doing that over the last six months anyway (which is when symptoms first got bad).

Still, only a month to go till Season 10 premieres in the UK!

MajorClanger is a pink furry rat who is biased against Jaffa Cakes and is always allowed to post nasty things about Tiny Clanger without the mods doing anything despite everyone I know complaining.

There. I've written that in my blog, so therefore it must be true. I haven't provided any facts, but then you don't need me to. If I've said it, it must be true. There is no point in you going to the trouble of actually finding out if these things have happened. Instead, the next time you see that pesky Major Clanger, you'll be quite stern with her after all she deserves it.

Update: well I have heard from a number of people that they did indeed give Major Clanger and her supporters exactly what they deserved. They actually got modded for it. It just goes to show how biased and unfair the GateWorld mods are. These MajorClanger supporters go bashing people left right and centre on Clanger Moon Chatters board, but when we stand up for ourselves at GateWorld we get told off for it. GateWorld clearly supports Major Clanger, and deliberately stomps on anyone who dares to be a Tiny Clanger supporter. If you don't believe us go try it yourself. If you post nasty things to Major Clanger's supporters, even though their actions are quite beyond the pale on other forums, you'll get stomped on by the heavy handed mods there who can't bear to hear any criticism of their beloved Major Clanger.
