A new book came out this week - Sci Fi Baby Names . I met a couple who had named their little girl Solo, both because they were huge Star Wars fans and because she was going to be their only child. There are plenty of 'normal' names in Sci Fi. At a con, I met a little lad called Jack, named after SG1's Jack. Other names suggested in the book are a bit more unusual. Not sure that it would be a good idea to call your child Kree, even in south east London. I did come across a family here who had twins called Osiris and Isis.
