too long

May! My last post was in May! Life has caught up with me. In the intervening months I've started a new treatment for the arthritis, and lost my father-in-law. Baby G is no longer Baby G but Toddler G. He loves numbers and counting, and likes nothing better than digging in the dirt so a possible future as an archeaologist could be on the cards. BBC 3 has been showing Stargate the movie lately, and I discovered the other day that, now I'm a mum, I can't watch the movie anymore. I start, but as soon as the chaps arrive at Jack's house and Sarah tells them he is in their son's bedroom, and the camera starts to pan across Tyler's stuff I have to switch over. Even a fictional character losing a child is too much for me now, sap that I am!
