Well, obviously the perfect man is Daniel (insert Jack, Tealc, etc as you see fit). But next-but-one-perfect-man or second-best-man doesn't quite have the same ring. My friend's husband is definitely next-but-one-perfect-man. On a playdate at their house (our two wee boys are best friends) I discovered that he is a fan of Stargate. He watches it every day. Not just one episode. Four episodes. A day. See what I mean about being the would-be-perfect-man-if-the-spot-wasn't-already-taken?
