And I still can't form an opinion on Stargate Universe. It isn't a comfy fit of a show - this is no pair of old slippers and an open fire. There's something deeply disturbing and I can't figure out why. It is drawing me deeply into the show.

Have not liked any of the publicity stills though, except the one attached to this post.

And am rather perturbed by the lack of reviews in mainstream press here in the UK despite the presence of Robert Carlyle. Den of Geek has one here.

Last night I saw the trailer for SGU on Sky for the first time. Very impressed. It has different sort of feel to it, compared to SG1 or SGA, despite the appearance of Jack. Also very glad to see that the camera style appears to be more Flash Forward and less Battlestar Galactica.

So, it is 1am and I'm watching Crystal Skull. And what a great episode this is. Excellent story line, great performances from everyone, and everyone including Tealc gets good lines. Lovely comedy scene between Tealc and Jack too.

But then...

Right at the end grandpa tells Daniel that he'll be back to see him again. And I'm shouting at the screen, oh no you won't!
