Well, I have finally finished the Gateworld server migrations! With my limited spare time over the past few weeks due to work, i've finally got the new server setup humming along nicely.

We are still ironing out a few issues with regards to backend stuff, but everything is now in place. My estimations of the new servers is that they would be able to hold 2000-3000 users online on the forums at one point, in addition to the main site being hit.

And with that, it's now less than 2 months until SG1 & SGA are back on TV!! Cant wait for it, and we are getting Foxtel (Australian pay TV/cable) installed on Tuesday which will be great, however it still wont mean we get live SG1/SGA/BSG episodes :(.

Also have booked in a nice holiday at a farmstay place in Margaret River (about 3 hours south of Perth) @ http://www.redgatefarmstay.com.au/ for mid July. Should be a great chance to destress and just relax in general after a hectic 12 months.

In the social scene, congratulations to Olga and Carl on their recent engagement!! Something that was definatelly inevitable, and i hope it brings a new element to your relationship that you can enjoy!

Annndddd i've finally sorted out my constant issues with crappy ADSL Wireless/VoIP Routers. After spending close to $2000 AUD on 10-15 different models (most of them returned, or replaced) over the past 3 years, i seem to have found the complete solution to all my problems.

Tool 1 - Billion 7401VGP - 4 Port switch, 54G Wireless, (1xFXo, 1xFXS) VoIP and support for ADSL/2/2+!
Tool 2 - D-Link 7dBi Omnidirectional antenna - gives me solid 54Mbps wireless access anywhere in my house.. i can even get 11Mbps 5 houses away!

Have been going strong for 24 hours now without a glitch, so i'm very happy.

Well thats it for today, im working on 2:30pm till 11pm shifts at work this week, so expect to see me rambling around the forums alot more.
