Motor City Comic Con is neither the best advertised, nor the best organized con. I go regularly just because it's the only vagurly Sci-Fi related con I'm aware of in Detroit but that doesn't mean it's all that good. I remember visiting your table but I'm sorry not many other people did. I was glad to see you though so Thanks for coming.

Dear Jonesy, After reading your blog I'm not surprised that you are a writer. Your style is very natural and warm. Please tell us more about your writing. You seem very comfortable. Have you visited the forum? Have you participated in any threads?
I've been enjoying your increased presence on the show.

I MET Mr. Belding (Dennis Haskins)! Last year he came to my school and talked about Saved by the Bell. Other than him (and yourself of course) I'm sorry to say that I only recognized two other names on that list... but if I was not a poor student I would have you call my brother in a heartbeat, I think he'd absolutely love that. So stay on that list because one day I will no longer be a poor student and I will send my brother a phone greeting from you for his b-day :)

You are just TOO funny. Your experience in Detroit reminds of the Chiller Theatre conventions in NJ that I admit I go to on a regular basis. My friend and I refer to it as the DP con (as in the Dead People's convention), because they keep signing up guests that, quite frankly, we thought were dead. But then you start thinking, wow, I could meet someone I used to watch on tv when I was a kid (which is quite a while ago) and then you meet them and like Kathy Garver, well, they look, well, not too good. It's kind of sad, but I keep going. But they also get lots of very alive people (like yourself) who seem to have a good time - sorry you didn't. Come to NJ and I'll be sure to stop by and say hello, bring you coffee (I've been known to do that) or whatever, and tell you how damn funny you are, cause you are. Hey, maybe you could get me Kathy Garver's autograph?

That was a great read after a hectic work day, picked me back up. Soon as I steal somebody's credit card, my boyfriend could certainly use a surprise call...he tries to do the "Chevron Seven Locked" lines in an American accent (he's Kiwi), but instead sounds like a drugged up robot.

Jonesy! I have been a devoted SG fan for years. I can't afford to go to those cons, sorry. I am a mom of 4 and it just doesn't fit into the budget. "Instead of food this week, kids, we'll go see Gary Jones. Who's Gary Jones? How dare you! For that, I'll take away your jackets for a week and you will have to watch Season 7, eight hours a day for a month!" Jonesy (that's my maiden name BTW), I have always enjoyed your character on the show. I am glad when they gave you a name and started giving you actual lines. If I could go to the con, then I'd visit your table and tell you how many people I know who actually know who you are... You have a great fan base and people watch you, know you and help pay your bills. Hang in there Jonesy and keep on saying "Sir, incoming message from SG (X)." and all the other great lines you have.

I got to meet ya at this past year's DragonCon and it was awesome. At first I thought you weren't going to be there on my day but as my friends and I were outside getting some air (cause man that convention was crowded) I overheard someone say "another Stargate guy" had arrived. I nearly knocked them down asking who.
You're definitly a good writer, and a funny guy, keep up the blogging!

Yeah, it was great meeting you at the various cons through the year, Jonesy.
Though I have to ask one question, how the HECK do you remember meeting fans at cons months after you first meet them? Is it a gift? Is it a curse? Is it something you developed from all your years of standup?
I should explain, that my online group of friends usually get together once a year to attend a con or three, plus we attend other cons solo..., and without FAIL every single one of the group says, "Yup. Jonesy yelled, "I'VE MET YOU BEFORE!" when we were getting our chevron guy pics stuff."
I mean, our Chevron Guy Sightings were taking place at assorted Vulkons, Dragoncon and multiple Creation Cons. I honestly thought they were lying... ok... telling a tall tale until you did that to me two or three times this past year.
It's scary, Jonesy, so can you tell us your secret on how you remember fans? Was it because we were all wearing our Kathy Garver Fan Club Shirts in Cleveland?

So, I just watched the epi where Walter finally get's his name, and it took me a second to realize that that was the first time anyone bothered to say it out loud.
You know, you have a bit of a double over in Atlantis. Chuck Campbell has been "Technician" for over a season, despite being in just about every single episode.
