HA...you thought I forgot about this didn't you? Cause I let a couple of days go by...NO..I was just building your anticipation LOL...

So..What has happened here in Mesa you ask? Well I will tell you.

A couple of weeks ago our fair city's population grew by one. And not just by *any* one.... But by a *one* that is near and Dear to many of all of our hearts here at GateWorld .

A *one* that we all sometimes envy because he gets to brush up against or talk with our favorite StarGate Stars. A *one* that we all admire for his dedication to detail in the GateWorld Omnipedia. a *One* that is loved because he can plan and execute a Fan Dinner at every Vancouver Convention :-)

YES...if you haven't already guessed ...the *One* who has thrown my town into a tizzy is our own David Read

Ok maybe *ALL* of Arizona* is a bit of an exaggeration LOL... But it has been fun for my family to embrace David into our little fold.

Since he hasn't put it in his blog yet..he said I could say it here. He has a job with *StarGate Worlds* which is located here in my town...yes I know..I am blessed LOL. So not only do I get GW on my computer, SG on my TV, I have StarGate Worlds The MMO in my backyard.

Having David move here has been wonderful for the *Gang* as I like to refer to them. My son, my nephew and all of their group are all gamers and computer fiends, plus they are all just really cool great young men and David just fits right in as if he has been there all his life. So he now has no choice but to be included into the *Family* ........ and no we are NOT like the Sopranos LOL.... although I do owe my sister money and I did have to do some fast talking to keep her henchmen at bay..mmmmm

So join me in welcoming David to my fair city. Congratulate him on his new job. Reassure his parents that he is being kept busy and being looked after. But most of all be amazed and happy that GateWorld..this internet community... so vast across the globe is still small enough that you really can and DO make some really awesome friends.

So...I have news.... and I plan to make this huge blog post about it....

When?? ummmmmmm tomorrow maybe... I have to sit down and write this story out with emoticons and everything and its 11:30 pm in ye ole desert...and I just can't do this news justice without my trusty emoticons.

I went and had a massage!!!

This last Christmas I asked for and received gift certificates to a place here called *The Madison Day Spa* and tonight I used one of my GC for what was aptly called a *Swedish Massage*. What is that you ask. .... It is an hour and a half of pure bliss, that is what it is. To share the experiance with me..I bought the same massage for my Best Friend and so she and I were treated to a calming sit down, then led to our prospective massage rooms, the lights dimmed and bliss occurred.

I absolutely adore massages so I plan to be doing this at the very least once a month.

My thought..if I can't have my Sci-Fridays back...well then I have to entertain myself some other way... What better way than this?????

I am too relaxed and happy to let anything TPTB do now bother me...so... my *Enlightenment* for the day... Get a massage..it makes everything seem so much nicer :-)
