Moderators can not be "just people" for the most part.
Why do I find it disturbing?
Well, because if the Forum was one that had a serious intent or nature then I could see that then we as Moderators would need to be aloof or not have personal opinions about the content or the subject matter. Its basically a thread to ask us all those questions you were dying to ask but didn't have any place to ask them :-)

Most folks begin the new year with resolutions of how they are going to improve. I have never done that.
