SCENE- SGC GATEROOM

SG1 exits the stargate to be greeted by Hammond

Hammond: Welcome back SG-1

O'Neill: Good to be back sir

Hammond: SG-1 you will debrief at 13:00

Hammond and SG-1 exit the gate room

SCENE CHANGE BRIEFING ROOM

SG1 walks into the briefing room at 13:00 to find Hammond already there and waiting.

Hammond: Take a seat SG-1

SG1 walks over and sits down at the table

Hammond: Lets discuss you mission

O'Neill: Our jungle adventure?

Hammond frowns, and Jack smiles

Daniel: The planet was pretty much one large jungle

Teal'c: Indeed, there was no sign of life other than the wild animals present.

Hammond: That's all?

O'Neill: What were we supposed to say? We spent 4 days walking around in a jungle, almost got attacked by a wild animal and then almost didn't find the stargate.

Hammond frowns at Jack yet again.

Hammond: SG-1 you are being given the week off, dismissed.

SG-1 walks towards the door and is about to leave when Hammond stops them and they turn around.

Hammond: one other thing, enjoy your downtime! That includes you Major

Carter: Sir I was going to spend the time working on my Naquada reactor

Hammond: No buts

Carter: Yes sir

SG-1 leaves

Hammond shakes his head

SCENE CHANGE CARTER'S LAB

Carter is in her lab when O'Neill walks in.

Carter: Need something sir?

O'Neill: Aren't you supposed to be having fun?

Carter: I'm trying to make some adjustments on my Naquada reactor.

O'Neill: Carter you need to get out and about for a while, don't spend your whole week in here.

Carter: I won't sir

O'Neill: You have until 18:00 to work, then you will be evicted until further notice.

Carter: sir? Evict me from my own lab?

O'Neill: I've been ordered by both Hammond and Mckenzie to make sure you get out and enjoy your downtime.

Carter: What about your downtime?

O'Neill: Don't worry, spending time with my favorite Major is enough.

Sam blushes

Carter: What about Daniel and Teal'c?

O'Neill: Daniel and Teal'c are offworld visiting Ryac.

Carter: Why did Daniel go?

O'Neill: Teal'c insisted

Carter: So what do I do with my downtime?

O'Neill: Leave that to me, be at my office at 18:00.

O'Neill walks out.

SCENE CHANGE O'NEILL'S OFFICE

O'Neill is sitting at his desk when Dr. Mckenzie walks in

O'Neill: Whats up doc?

McKenzie reveals a small smile at Jack's comment.

McKenzie: did you talk to Major Carter?

O'Neill: Yes, she has until 18:00 to work, then it's relaxation time for the next week!

Mckenzie: She didn't protest?

O'Neill: After I mentioned she would be evicted from her lab at 18:00 and was ordered by you and the General to enjoy herself, she gave in.

McKenzie: I hope making sure she enjoys herself won't prevent you from doing the same? You both need some time off to relieve some of the stress from work, especially after Dr. Fraizers death.

O'Neill: It won't, I already planned a fun filled week for her.

McKenzie: Like?

O'Neill: Secret, you won't know until the end of the week when we return.

The clock hits 18:00 and O'Neill's watch beeps

O'Neill: she will be here any minute now, you best leave

McKenzie: right, good luck

McKenzie quickly exits the office, and Carter soon makes her way in.

O'Neill: Finished Carter?

Carter: For now

O'Neill: Good

Carter: What do you have panned for me sir?

O'Neill: I'll explain on the way

SCENE CHANGE CARTER'S HOUSE

O'Neill and Carter enter her house

O'Neill: All you need to do here is pack enough stuff for a week.

Carter: A week where sir?

O'Neill: just pack your stuff Carter

SCENE CHANGE SGC GATEROOM

The gate activates as Teal'c and Daniel enter the room.

Hammond: you have a go, you're do back in one week.

Daniel: right

Teal'c: Understood

Teal'c and Daniel enter the gate

Hammond heads to his office and picks up the phone and dials a number.

Hammond: you leave yet?

Hammond: understood, Hammond out

SCENE CHANGE CARTER'S HOUSE

Carter walks out of here bedroom with a suitcase and backpack as O'Neill hangs up his cell phone.

Carter: Talking to someone sir?

O'Neill: not really, just the General

Carter: Emergency sir?

Carter looks nervous

O'Neill: no, he just wanted to know why we were still here.

Carter: oh

O'Neill: you ready?

Carter: Yes

O'Neill and Carter head out the door

SCENE CHANGE COLORADO SPRINGS AIRPORT ENTRANCE

Carter: let me guess, we're flying out to your Cabin in Minnesota.

O'Neill: not exactly, we're flying to the Minneapolis- St. Paul International airport and then driving to my Cabin.

Carter: Do we have to go there?

O'Neill: You got a batter idea?

Carter: Yes.........

O'Neill: Is it a place out in the middle of nowhere, where you can't possibly do any work?

Carter: well.....uh...

O'Neill: Lets go, our plane leaves in 2 hours.

SCENE CHANGE RENTAL CAR LOT AT Mpls.- ST. Paul AIRPORT

Carter and O'Neill walk to their rental car and toss their bags in the trunk and get in

SCENE CHANGE O'NEILL'S CABIN

O'Neill and Carter get out of the car and unload their stuff

Carter stares at the cabin and gets a smile on her face

O'Neill: like it?

Carter: It's better than what Teal'c described, that's for sure..

O'Neill: What did he say about it?

Carter: You'll have to ask him that

Carter takes her stuff and walks over to the Cabin and walks inside. O'Neill shuts the trunk and follows her.

INSIDE OF CABIN

Carter sets her stuff down on the floor and looks around

O'Neill walks in

O'Neill: Still like it?

Carter: Can't go wrong with cable TV.

O'Neill: It's Satellite TV Carter, don't tell me you're one of those cable people.

Carter: Don't worry sir, I'm not a cable subscriber.

Carter blushes a little

O'Neill: you can have the bedroom, and I'll take the couch

Carter: You never did tell me what I get to spend my week doing?

A BRIGHT FLASH OF LIGHT APPEARS IN THE ROOM AND THOR APPEARS

Thor: Greetings

O'Neill: Thor! Buddy!, what brings you here?

Thor: I require your assistance O'Neill

THOR, O'NEILL AND CARTER ARE BEAMED UP TO THORS SHIP AND ARRIVE ON THE BRIDGE.

Thor turns on the main viewing screen and an image of an Asguard ship appears.

O'Neill looks at the screen

O'Neill: Something bad happen?

Thor: Yes, the Goauld managed to capture an Asguard Battle Cruiser from the replicators.

Carter: I thought that time dilation device stopped the replicators?

Thor: Indeed it has stopped many of them, but it did not stop all of them.

O'Neill: How did the goauld beat the replicators?

Thor: That is unknown, but we believe the replicators may have abandoned the ship when they had no more use for it.

O'Neill: So you need us to get the ship back?

Thor: No, you merely need to destroy it before the goauld can gain access to any of our technology.

Carter: Why exactly do you need us to do it?

Thor: You would have the knowledge and ability to infiltrate a Goauld base and sabotage the ship, knowledge and skills the Asguard do not have.

O'Neill gets a big smile on his face

O'Neill: I'm sorry to disapoint you, but at the moment SG-1 is minus two people and we are not combat ready.

Thor: I have informed General Hammond of the situation. He was most helpful in transporting the necessary equipment up to the ship.

O'Neill: How do we get to this place?

Thor: We will take you within transporter range of the planet and then beam you down. Once you have completed the mission, you will return to the landing site and we will beam you back to the ship.

Carter: How exactly do we blow up an Asguard ship?

Thor: We have an Asguard explosive device which you will place inside of the ship and detonate when you are safely out of harms way.

O'Neill: Lets get moving then.

SCENE CHANGE ALIEN PLANET

O'Neill and Carter beam down to the planet and appear in a forest clearing.

O'Neill: Carter, take point. I'll watch our rear.

Carter: right

O'Neill and Carter move out

SCENE CHANGE GOAULD BASE: COMMAND CENTER

2 Jaffa are busy operating some control panels when a goauld walks in

Goauld: jaffa

The jaffa turn to face him and stand at attention.

Jaffa 1: Our sensors have detected 2 life signs coming from the forest.

Goauld: Send a jaffa patrol to deal with these intruders.

Jaffa 2: yes my lord

Jaffa 2 walks out of the room

SCENE CHANGE FOREST

Carter and O'Neill are walking towards the edge of the forest when staff blasts start flying past them.

O'Neill: Take cover! Return fire!

Carter and O'Neill quickly drop down behind some tress and open fire.

6 Jaffa come charging towards them blasting away, but carter and O'Neill kill them.

O'Neill: Damn, the goaulds must no we are here.

Carter: Lets get out of here before more come looking for us.

O'Neill and Carter get up and start running towards the edge of the forest as quickly as possible. Upon reaching the edge of the forest they pause and check to make sure no jaffa or goaulds are near by.

O'Neill and Carter walk further, and discover they are at the top of a hill, over looking the small goauld base.

O'Neill: Must not be a big name goauld.

Carter: Most of it is probably underground.

O'Neill: good grief Carter, you don't need to make things sound worse.

Carter: Sorry sir

Carter smiles

O'Neill: Normally we would wait until dark to run down this hill to avoid detection, but seeing as we ran into those jaffa, we better get down there now before more come up here.

Carter: right sir

Carter and O'Neill run down the hill as quickly as possibly, and reach the bottom without any troubles.

O'Neill stops to catch his breath.

Carter: alright sir?

O'Neill: I ran all the way down the hill thinking the goaulds would spot us and start shooting, but they didn't.

Carter: maybe they............

A door opens and 12 jaffa walk out followed by a goauld.

O'Neill and Carter open fire with their P-90's, but an energy shield blocks all of their bullets.

The jaffa surround Carter and O'Neill.

Goauld: lower your weapons and surrender.

O'Neill and Carter drop their weapons and surrender.

The goauld walks over and examines Carter and O'Neill.

The jaffa grab Carter and O'Neill and restrain them.

Goauld: Tauri? What were your kind doing on this world.

O'Neill: doing what we do best, killing snake heads like you.

Carter smiles

Goauld: This world has no stargate, and the Tauri do not poses any vessels capable of reaching this world.

O'Neill: we have a Cargo ship you know

The goauld laughs

Goauld: if you had come in a cargo vessel, you would have been blown out of the sky before you could land. I will enjoy interrogating you. Especially you....... (he walks over to Carter and gives her an evil smile and licks her neck, then punches O'Neill in the gut)

O'Neill: that hurt

Goauld: Jaffa, take them to the holding cells.

The jaffa strip Carter and O'Neill of their gear and drag them off and into the base.

SCENE CHANGE HOLDING CELL

O'Neill and Carter are laying on the cell floor when they wake up.

Carter: What happened?

O'Neill: They dragged us into the base and knocked us out I would assume.

Carter: I can't believe that snakehead............

O'Neill: what?

Carter: He licked my neck! I'm so going to kill that guy.

O'Neill: Whats so bad about the goauld licking your neck, be thankful it wasn't a lot worse.

Carter: That goauld just did what I would never have allowed anyone to do to me, except a certain someone.

O'Neill: What about the fact he nailed me tight in the gut?

Carter: Yet another thing someone did that I can't.

O'Neill: Let me guess you are mad because he was abusing me and showing affection towards you.

Carter: well......uh.......maybe

O'Neill: you don't have to hide your feelings Carter, it's not like anyone here cares about the regs.

Carter: I.........

O'Neill goes over and gives Carter a hug.

O'Neill: I don't care what that goauld says or does to me, but if he does anything to you, I'll kick his goauld ass.

Carter smiles to herself

Carter: (speaking softly) How did I ever become worthy of Jack's love and respect?

Several jaffa come marching down the hallway and take guard positions outside O'Neill and Carter's cell. A jaffa opens the door and enters with food and water.

rbel Jaffa: you would be wise to eat this (he sets it on the floor). You may need it.

O'Neill: helping the enemy?

rebel Jaffa: I am merely following my masters orders. (he drops a piece of paper on the floor and exist the cell)

The jaffa lock the cell door and walk away.

Carter notices the paper and picks it up.

O'Neill: What is it?

Carter: a note. That jaffa who was just in here said he is a rebel jaffa, and may be able to get us out.

O'Neill: That is good

Carter: It also says that goauld has a nasty surprise for us.

O'Neill: Nasty surprise?

Carter puts the note down and they began eating the food. Shortly after eating they go to sleep.

6 hours later.

The jaffa return and open the cell door, and drag the prisoners out.

O'Neill: whats going on?

rebel Jaffa: My master is ready to began.

SCENE CHANGE THRONE ROOM

Carter and O'Neill are chained to the wall and under heavy guard when the goauld leader walks in.

Goauld: Greetings, I trust your food and sleep were adequate?

O'Neill: not really, the food was a little stale.

A jaffa turns around and punches O'Neill.

Goauld: Jaffa cree! We need them alive and in good health.

The jaffa turns around and resumes his position of attention.

Goauld: I should apologize for not revealing my name, I'm Malek

O'Neill: and what do you want with us?

Malek: I am aware that you two are O'Neill and Carter of the Tauri.

O'Neill: maybe

Malek: I also know you are on the system lords most wanted list.

O'Neill: You intend to turn us in for a reward?

Malek: I plan to discredit you with your leaders. After I am through with you, they will not think so highly of either of you.

Carter: How does that help you?

Malek: do you think you would be doing what you do if your people stopped trusting you or believing in your abilities? Just think of how much help it would be to the goauld.

O'Neill: They won't loose faith in us, they'll forgive us.

Malek: normally yes, but what I will do will change that.

Carter: how?

Malek: Jaffa leave us!

The jaffa walk out of the room.

Malek: I am aware you army has rules all its warriors must obey.

O'Neill: yes

Malek: If I use those against you, they will be forced to punish you. As your rules would demand it.

O'Neill: what rules?

Malek: The ones that state no affection between fellow warriors.

Carter: They won't punish us for that

Malek: oh they will. (Malek pulls ou a zat and shoots them each once)

SCENE CHANGE PRISON CELL

Carter and O'Neill awaken back in their cell to find Malek waiting outside.

Malek: sleep well?

O'Neill: what did you do to us!

Malek: you are just fine, it's your companion you should be worrying about.

Carter: I can feel it sir, somethings different.

Malek laughs

O'Neill: What did you do to her?

Malek: I won't say, but maybe your Asguard friends will know what I did. I doubt you two will want to change it once you know what I did.

Carter: Asguard?

Malek: do you take me for a fool? The Asguard sent you here to destroy the ship we captured from them.

Just then 2 staff blasts hit Malek in the side and kill him. The rebel jaffa runs over and opens the cell door. He hands O'Neill a Zat gun.

Rebel jaffa: you must escape before the other jaffa learn of Maleks death and seek revenge.

O'Neill: What about that Asguard ship we cam here to blow up?

Rebel jaffa: I will destroy it, the explosion should wipe out most of this base.

SCENE CHANGE FOREST

O'Neill and Carter are running towards the forest when they hear a large explosion. They turn around to see the asguard ship was destroyed along with most of the base. A bright white light appears and they are transported back to Thors ship.

Thor: I congratulate you on your mission.

O'Neill: It was a rebel jaffa who did it, not us.

Thor: I see

O'Neill: We got captured by the snakehead running that base ad he did something to Carter.

Thor pulls out a small device and scans Carter.

Thor: It did do something interesting.

O'Neill and Carter both look mad.

Carter: Interesting?

Thor: According to my scan you are pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl.

Carter: What?

Thor: he used a form of gauld technology stolen from the Ancients that allows a person to impregant somone with the chold of another.

O'Neill: so that goauld we killed is the father of Carters future kids?

Thor: No, I certainly hope not.

Carter: Then who is?

Thor: You O'Neill

Thor smiles

Carter: That goauld Malek was right sir.

Thor: I am aware your military as regulations against fraternization, so I can terminate the pregnancy if you wish?

O'Neill and Carter: No!

O'Neill: Carter and I can work this out, I'll just talk to Hammond when we get back.

SCENE CHANGE SGC: HAMMONDS OFFICE

Carter and O'Neill enter Hammonds office right as Thor leaves.

O'Neill smiles

Hammond: I talked to Thor and the Chiefs of staff and of course the President.

O'Neill: and?

Hammond: They intend to come here to congratulate both of you personally.

Carter: what about the regs sir? We violated them

Hammond: They plan on making an exception to the regs as your case was not voluntary. The president also issued a mandate saying the no fraternization records do not apply to SG-1.

Carter can't believe what she just heard and her jaw drops

O'Neill kisses Carter

Hammond: not in my office Jack, keep it professional on base.

O'Neill: oh, right sir!

Hammond: Jacob Carter will be here tomorrow, and I suggest the three of you work things out.

Carter and O'Neill: Yes Sir!

Hammond: After you finish with the Doctor, you have 2 weeks leave. Dismissed.

Carter and O'Neill run out of the office like school kids.

Hammond: about damn time they did something about their problem.

SCENE CHANGE VIP QUARTERS THE FOLLOWING DAY

O'Neill and Carter are busy chatting away when the door opens and Jacob Carter walks in.

Carter jumps up to greet her dad

Carter: Hey dad

Sam and Jacob hug each other bore Jacob takes a seat.

Jacob: Hammond gave me all the details on what has happened.

O'Neill: everything?

Jacob: Yes everything, was there something I should know?

O'Neill: No

Carter: Don't worry sir, my dad won't kill you.

Jacob: kill him? Why would I kill the guy who just gave me a shot at 2 more grandchildren.

O'Neill looks relieved

Jacob: Have you two talked about what you plan on doing about the recent change of events?

Jack: Sam's house isn't big enough, so she can move in with me.

Carter frowns

Jacob: So, what about your personal status? Any plans to develop a.........

O'Neill: relationship?

Jacob: Yes

Carter: We already had one I guess, and now with 2 kids coming and no regs in the way, we've decided to upgrade it.

Jacob: upgrade?

Carter: Yes, from a relationship to a marriage.

Jacob smiles and gives them both a hug.

Jacob: You finally pulled it off eh Jack?

Jack: I guess so.

Carter: we also decided to make the marriage a small affair, and not one of those big fancy things.

Jacob: I can understand that. When will it take place?

O'Neill: As soon as we invite the people and reserve a spot for the ceremony.

Jacob: Hammond already reserved a spot in town, and made all the other arrangements. However, Daniel and Teal'c are still off world and won't be attending.

O'Neill: I see, I guess that takes care of everything.

Jacob: Almost, one other thing................

O'Neill: What?

Jacob: 2 Questions actually.

O'Neill: Like?

Jacob: 1. Why do you always act so stupid and 2. How smart are you?

Sam looks mad

Carter: dad

O'Neill smiles

O'Neill: It's ok Sam, I don't mind answering. Sam can explain the first question, but I'll explain the 2nd one. I have Bachelors degrees in computer science and History and a Masters in Chemical Engineering.

Sam looks stunned

Jacob looks surprised and happy

Jacob: Wow! I think that satisfies thew knowledge questions.

Carter: When did you plan on telling me about your education?

O'Neill: whenever you took the time to ask me.

Carter looks confused and shuts up.

Sam, Jacob and Jack continue talking away

SCENE CHANGE COLORADO SPRINGS CHURCH

Sam and Jack are at the front of the church. Jack is wearing his dress uniform and Carter is wearing a wedding dress. Jacob is standing next to his daughter. The church door opens and all the people star walking in. Half the SG teams, Mckenzie, Hammond, a couple generals, Sams brother and someone old lady no one recognizes.

The old lady starts walking towards Sam and Jack.

Sam: is that who I think it is?

The lady stops in front of Sam and looks at her.

Sam: Hi

Jack: Jacob, Sam, this is my Mother.

Jacob Carter and Jacks mom shake hands.

Sam: you didn't tell me you had a mom Jack?

Jack: you didn't ask.

Sam: I think we need to have a talk later............

Jacks mom laughs

Pastor: Lets began, please keep in mind this will be a short ceremony at the request of the participants.

Everyone is in smiles.

Pastor: Do you Jack take Samantha to be your lawfully wedded wife?

Jack: Yes

Pastor: Sam, do you take Jack as your husband?

Sam: yes

Sam and Jack Exchange rings

Pastor: Then you are husband and wife, Jack and Samantha O'Neill.

Sam and Jack look at each other and then kiss.

Right as the crowd starts their applauding, Sam and Jack are transported up to Thors ship.

Jack looks around

Jack: Thor, whats up?

Thor: I would like to offer my congratulations to both you and Major O'Neill, and to inform you that I made some minor changes to your home.

Jack: what kind of changes?

Thor: I made some minor improvements on your homes security devices. You should find them quite beneficial should they be needed.

Carter: Thanks Thor

Thor: You and Colonel O'Neill are very important in the war against the goauld and replicators, so we can't afford to loose you.

Carter and O'Neill are returned to the church.

Jacob: Thor again?

Carter: Yep, just wishing us well.

Jack's mom: You must be good friends with the Asguard

Jack: huh? Asguard?

Hammond comes forward

Hammond: Jack she knows about the SGC, she's known for 5 years.

Jack: What?

Jack's mom: I made a number of valid arguments they couldn't answer, so they eventually caved in and told me what you do for a living.

Jack: ah

Pastor: I believe the ceremony is concluded, so you are free to leave.

Jacob: What do you say we go out to some fancy place for dinner?

Carter, Jack, Jacob, Hammond and Jack's mom all exit the church.

SCENE CHANGE SGC BRIEFING ROOM

Sam and Jack are sitting at the Briefing room table when Hammond walks in.

Hammond: Morning

Sam and Jack: Morning General

Hammond walks over and sits down

Hammond: Lets start the briefing.

Jack: Where are Daniel and Teal'c?

Hammond: They are still off world. After all the recent events started occurring, I gave them an extended leave. They are due back in an hour.

Carter: Then we wait for them?

Hammond: No, we'll start without them.

Jack: ok

Hammond: The Tok'ra sent us information about a goauld prison where some Tollan are supposedly being held. This is information they just got. Jacobs done a darn good job mending fences with them.

Sam looks shocked and O'Neill looks surprised.

Jack: didn't that Tanith guy kill all the Tollan?

Hammond: According to the Tok'ra a few survived and were taken prisoner. Ever since the goauld have been holding them hostage.

Carter: I take it you want us to go save them?

Hammond: Yes, I am sending SG-1 to attempt a rescue.

Jack: General, isn't that a little risky seeing as we no nothing about the planet, especially the details on the goauld activity there.

Just then the briefing room door opens and Jacob, Teal'c and Daniel enter.

Teal'c: I believe we can answer your question O'Neill

SCENE CHANGE SGC GATEROOM

SG-1 and SG-2 are in the gateroom waiting to be sent on their mission.

The stargate activates and the wormhole engages

Hammond: you have a go

SG-1 and SG-2 walk up the ramp and enter the gate and the wormhole soon disengages.

SCENE CHANAGE CONTROL ROOM

Jacob walks up to Hammond

Jacob: You really should have let me go with them George

Hammond: I can't do that Jacob, you're are only hope at fixing the alliance with the Tok'ra.

Jacob: I know, but I feel I should be out there. If I had gone, SG-1 could have stayed here on Earth

Hammond: Don't worry Jacob, they'll be fine.

Jacob: Like Dr. Farizer?

Hammond frowns

Hammond: I understand Colonel O'Neill and Major O'Neill mean a lot to you, but they are also our best officers. Without them we might just as well be loosing the fight with the goauld.

Jacob: I know, but couldn't you reduce their off world mission and give them more work here at the SGC?

Hammond: I already talked to the joint chiefs and the president about how the recent events affect SG-1's status.

Jacob looks angry

Jacob: and?

Hammond: I've been authorized to alter the missions. They will be used solely for missions assigned top priority. That effectively cuts their missions in half.

Jacob: I guess I should be happy about that.

An alarm sounds

Sergeant Davis: General Hammond to the briefing room.

Hammond and Jacob walk to the briefing room

Hammond: What is it sergeant?

Sergeant Davis: Major O'Neill reports they ran into an ambush and are on their way back to the gate. She says to have a med team standing by and prepare for their arrival.

Jacob looks worried

Hammond: Open the iris

As the gateroom fills with medical personal and SF guards, SG-1 and 2 exit the gate, carrying Colonel O'Neill.

The gate shuts off and the iris closes.

Hammond and Jacob head down the gateroom to see Colonel O'Neill being carried to the infirmary, followed closely by the rest of SG-1.

SCENE CHANGE INFIRMARY

Jack wakes up to find he is lying in bed with Daniel sitting next to him in a chair.

Jack: Daniel?

Daniel: Jack?

Jack: What happened?

Daniel: we ran into an ambush, and had to hightail it back to the gate.

Jack looks around

Jack: Where's Sam?

Daniel looks shocked that Jack just called her Sam.

Jack looks worried

Jack: Where is she?

Daniel: Sam's fine, everyone made it back in one piece except you.

Jack looks relieved

Jack: Thank you god

Dnaiel: how's the leg?

Jack: just fine, not much more than a staff burn and a broken bone.

Daniel: That's good

Jack: So, where is Sam?

Daniel looks shocked again

Jack: What? Did I say something?

Daniel: Are you sure you're alright Jack?

Jack: Yes

Daniel: then why do you keep calling Major Carter Sam? Isn't that against the rules?

Jack reaches for his pants by the bed, but Daniel picks them up.

Jack: Its not against the rules anymore. Just look in the pockets

Daniel empties the pockets to find a note and a photo.

Jack: read the note first

Daniel reads it and then looks surprised.

Daniel: They eliminated the frat regs?

Jack: No, just made SG-1 except from complying with them.

Daniel looks at the picture, it's of Jack and Sam at their wedding. After putting down the picture he looks confused.

Daniel: Did you do what I think you did?

Jack: Yes (Jack holds his hand up)

Daniel smiles and starts laughing

Daniel: I knew it would happen eventually!

Jack: huh?

Daniel: I made a bet with the Teal'c that you and Sam would eventually find a way around the regs and pursue a relationship without either person leaving SG-1.

Jack: Well now you know, so you might as well let Teal'c in on it.

Teal'c walks in

Dnaiel: When did it happen?

Teal'c: While we were visiting Ryac. Much happened while we were gone.

Daniel looks confused

Teal'c: I believe you may need to review all the reports detailing the events. I also believe this is yours (Teal'c hands Daniel a $20 bill)

Jack: How did you know Teal'c?

Teal'c: There were many factors, the way you and Major O'neill were acting, the rings you two were wearing and the fact Jacob Carter was here.

Jack: speaking of the major, where is she?

Teal'c: In a meeting with SG-2, Jacob Carter and General Hammond.

Daniel: so, why did you do all this now? Why not before?

Teal'c: before there was no reason for them to be exempt from the regulations.

Daniel: what changed it?

Teal'c: I believe it is because Major O'Neill is pregnant with twins.

Daniel looks surprised and happy.

Daniel: Not wasting any time are we Jack?

Jack smiles

Jack: nope

Jacob and Sam enter the infirmary.

Daniel: Hi Sam

Sam: hi

Teal'c: I believe we should be congratulating you on your recent success.

Sam blushes

Sam: thanks

Jacob: You also have a new responsibility Daniel

Daniel: like?

Jacob: make sure Jack stays out of trouble and takes good care of Sam. Because if he doesn't........

Jack: I won't like what happens to me. (Jack frowns)

Jacob: You'll also be happy to know that while SG-1 and 2 were getting ambushed, the Asguard managed to rescue the Tollan prisoners.

Jack: Why did they need us to walk into an ambush then?

Jacob: Thor was in the area and when he learned you were in trouble, he went to help. However when he arrived you had already escaped. He informed us of what happened and after talking with us, he managed to rescue the Tollan prisoners.

Jack: How many?

Jacob: 11

Jack: good for Thor

Jacob: I have to head back, so take care. (he gives Jack and Sam each a hug and walks out)

SCENE CHANGE O'NEILL HOUSE

Jack is sitting in front of the T.V. when Sam walks in the door.

Jack: Hey Sam

Sam looks around

Sam: I thought you agreed we could redecorate and reorganize this place?

Jack: I agreed to a little redecoration, but we never agreed on the when or the who.

Sam: Yes, buy only 8 months till all hell freezes over.

Jack: get used to it Sam, parenting can be a pain in the ass. Especially when you combine Carter and O'Neill genetics.

Sam laughs

Sam: you got that right, and for the next 8 months you get to do most of the work around here.

Jack: what? That's unfair!

Sam: Doctors orders. Remember what my dad said.

Jack: I know, be the perfect husband and gentlemen or else face the wrath of the almighty General Carter!

Sam laughs

Jack: I can tell I'm going to enjoy this

Sam: Enjoy what?

Jack: A sarcastic, insubordinate idiot like me being married to a smart beautiful person like you who I can't possibly deserve. Not to mention the twins on the way.

Sam: Some corrections Jack. You'd be a lot smarter if you stopped playing dumb.

Jack laughs

Sam: Also, I'm the one who doesn't deserve you, not the other way around.

Jack: Then I'm the luckiest guy in the universe.

Sam sits down next to Jack and joins him in his T.V. watching.

Jack puts his arm around Sam and they stare at the T.V.
