Shanks Online launches charity auction

Thursday - May 12, 2005 | by Darren Sumner

The Michael Shanks Online (MSOL) Web site today kicks off a special charity auction, featuring several autographed Stargate SG-1 items! The auction will run for about two weeks, and will feature about 40 items -- some of which are extremely rare collectors' items -- from photos and comics to other memorabilia.

Every item offered in the auction has been autographed by Michael Shanks and/or other members of the Stargate cast and crew. Proceeds will be donated to one of Shanks's preferred charities, The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.

All items will be listed on the auction pages of the MSOL site, while the auction is being conducted on eBay. The first 15 items can be viewed now, with new items to be added over the next week. Check it out at Michael Shanks Online.

(Thanks to Dana Jeanne for the tip!)
