Stargate convention on Conan this week

Late Night with Conan O'Brien will air a special segment this week on this past weekend's Stargate fan convention in Secaucus, New Jersey, series artist and Stargate fan Pierre Bernard told fans at SG1-Spoilergate.
Bernard appeared on stage at the event for a 15-minute Q&A session, interviewed Gary "Chevron Guy" Jones, and interacted with Michael Shanks ("Daniel Jackson") and Christopher Judge ("Teal'c") during their stage appearance.
Following his "Recliner of Rage" segment on Conan last year, the soft-spoken artist has been invited to the Vancouver set of Stargate twice and has become something of a spokesman for the long-running sci-fi series. (His first visit led to a second Conan segment in May 2004 [story].) He appeared in a bit part in Season Eight's "Zero Hour," and a much larger role in one of The SCI FI Channel's "The Lowdown" preview specials.
The Creation convention featured actors Michael Shanks, Christopher Judge, Don S. Davis ("George Hammond"), Peter Williams ("Apophis"), Alexis Cruz ("Skaara"), and Gary Jones ("Walter Harriman").
The new Stargate convention segment is currently scheduled to air Wednesday, August 10, Bernard said. Conan airs weeknights at 12:35 a.m. Eastern/Pacific on NBC.
