The U.S. syndication premieres of SG-1 Season Eight and Stargate Atlantis Season One will air the week of September 19! As most local stations air the hit shows during the weekend, most viewers can find them on September 24 or 25.
Both series will be broadcast in syndication in 16:9 letterboxed widescreen.
Following up on the memorable Season Seven finale, SG-1's eighth season kicks off with the two-part episode "New Order." Episodes will air in order through the first half of the slightly shortened, 20-episode season:
Season Seven kept Stargate SG-1 the highest rated first-run dramatic hour in syndication during the 2004-2005 broadcast season.
Stargate Atlantis will make its syndication debut following a stellar year on cable:
The start of the new season also means that the broadcast rights to SG-1 Season Seven episodes are expected to return to The SCI FI Channel, which should add them to the weekday and "Stargate Monday" runs. Season Eight and Atlantis Season One episodes will not air on SCI FI until the fall of 2006 at the earliest.
Check local listings for the time and station in your town! Note that both SG-1 and Atlantis may not be airing on the same channel.
