Fandemonium novels coming to U.S.

Tuesday - June 6, 2006 | by Darren Sumner

Fandemonium Ltd.'s new line of officially licensed Stargate SG-1 tie-in novels are finally coming to the United States and Canada! The company announced today that its license has been expanded to North America, and will kick off with its first original SG-1 novel, "Trial by Fire," on June 19.

In the book, written by Sabine C. Bauer, SG-1 embarks on a mission to Tyros, an ancient society teetering on the brink of war. But when their spiritual leader is murdered, the Tyreans beg SG-1 for help against their sworn enemies.

"Sacrifice Moon," the second book in the series, will follow on July 5.

Four other SG-1 novels from Fandemonium are currently available outside of North America. The newest, "Survival of the Fittest," has been delayed to a late June or July release (December in North America).

Written by both professional authors and selected fans, the Fandemonium novel series seeks to tell high-quality, original stories written by people who know and love Stargate.

Books are currently available online from Amazon.com and StargateNovels.com (the publisher's Web site), and in the future will hopefully be carried in retail stores including Borders and Barnes & Noble (which can now special-order the books, even if they don't stock them yet).

Order the new Stargate SG-1 novels today through Amazon.com and support GateWorld with your purchase!
