First look at SG-1 complete series packaging

Friday - August 24, 2007 | by Darren Sumner

Thanks to our friends at FOX Home Entertainment, GateWorld has the first look at the DVD packaging for the upcoming release Stargate SG-1: The Complete Series! The massive, 54-disc set is coming to stores on October 9 (Region 1 - North America).

The set includes all 10 seasons of cable's longest-running drama, including all the commentaries and bonus material from the original season releases -- plus four discs filled with never-before-seen material from the Stargate archives, and newly created for this release. Check out a complete list of bonus disc contents here.

FOX reminds us that this is a temporary shot -- the finalized box art will be available soon.

Correction: Stargate SG-1: The Complete Series will now retail at $329.98 (not $299.98) -- putting each season at about $33, not even factoring in the extra discs. Pre-order the set now at Amazon.com for an amazing $230.99 (subject to change) and support GateWorld with your purchase!
