Shanks stars in SCI FI's 'Mega Snake'

Stargate SG-1 co-star Michael Shanks will star in the SCI FI Channel original movie "Mega Snake," airing this Saturday, August 25. The movie also features Who Wants to be a Superhero's first season winner, Feedback (Matthew Atherton).
"Mega Snake," according to SCI FI, is "the thrilling tale of a serpent with supernatural powers unwittingly unleashed upon the residents of a small town. Before long, the reptile grows to a gargantuan size, wreaking havoc on everything in its path. When the snake threatens the lives of a group of children at a carnival, it's up to Feedback to save the day!"
Shanks plays Les, a paramedic who is afraid of snakes, who must save the day. "Mega Snake" airs Saturday at 9 p.m. Eastern/Pacific. Watch the promo now at SciFi.com.
