Auction offers Atlantis walk-on role

Wednesday - November 28, 2007 | by Chad Colvin

Your chance to be a part of Stargate's history is now! An online auction is now offering what is billed as the "Ultimate Sci-Fi Experience."

Included for the auction winner is a walk-on role in a future episode of Stargate Atlantis and lunch on the set of the series with stars Joe Flanigan and Amanda Tapping. In addition to themselves, the winner will also be allowed to have one guest accompany them.

The auction item was donated by Flanigan and Tapping in support of the Carol Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund, a charity established by the mother of actors Alec and William Baldwin to benefit breast cancer research.

Not only is the auction a great way for Stargate fans to help support a much-needed charity, but it is also a rare chance for the winner to become a part of Stargate's ongoing legacy.

You'll need to bid soon, though! The auction will be running live only until Friday, December 14. View the details and bid by visiting the Charity Folks auction link here.

(Special thanks to Aris at Charity Folks for the tip!)
