New Stargate Worlds sweepstakes announced

Friday - December 21, 2007 | by Chad Colvin

MGM Studios -- in collaboration with Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment and the SCI FI Channel -- have just announced a new sweepstakes promotion that will put the winner "inside" the highly anticipated new video game, Stargate Worlds!

Beginning January 11, 2008, viewers of Stargate Atlantis will receive a "gate code" which, when registered at the contest Web site, will enter the user into a contest that will put the winner's image or likeness into the video game.

Every code you enter is another chance to win, and the codes will only be shown during viewings of the new first-run episodes of Stargate Atlantis's fourth season, airing Friday nights on SCI FI Channel in the U.S.

In addition, make sure to tune in to Atlantis when it returns from the holiday break on January 4. That night will feature the first look at the Stargate Worlds game trailer.

Stargate Worlds is a massively multi-player online role-playing game, coming to the PC next fall. For more contest details, visit the contest site, and keep watching GateWorld for more Atlantis and Stargate Worlds updates!

(Thanks to Morjana for the tip!)
