GateWorld Returns to Vancouver!

GateWorld.net returns to Vancouver, British Columbia this week for our annual pilgrimage to the home of all things Stargate! Be sure to stay tuned for our full coverage as the week continues.
Stargate fans from all over the world are already arriving for Creation Entertainment's massive, 4-day convention (Thursday through Sunday). Headlining this year's event are Michael Shanks, Jason Momoa, Lexa Doig, Corin Nemec, Kavan Smith, Rainbow Sun Francks, Brad Wright, Martin Wood, David Palffy, and many, many more.
Saturday will feature a special Stargate: Continuum panel with Wright, who wrote the upcoming DVD movie, and Wood, who directed it.
In addition to on-stage appearances, auctions, autographs, photo opportunities, a costume contest, the dealer's room, and the Stargate props museum, convention-goers will once again have the opportunity to tour the sets of Stargate Atlantis and Stargate SG-1 at The Bridge Studios. New this year is a tour of the NORCO sets, where many episode-specific sets are constructed and filmed.
GateWorld's editors will be pounding the pavement at The Bridge Studios all day Thursday and Friday, conducting interviews with the members of our favorite cast and crew and getting our first look at the filming of Atlantis Season Five. We'll bring you major, breaking news right away, and also give you a taste this week of what is to come in the weeks ahead!
The fifth season of Atlantis and the DVD premiere of Stargate: Continuum are both slated for July.
