Amanda Tapping’s (Samantha Carter) recent eBay charity auctions raked in almost $20,000 (U.S.)!
Proceeds for the winning bids will go to support the North Star Montessori Elementary School in Vancouver, BC.
The 20-minute Skype chat with Amanda (link) went for $3,750. An autographed arm sling worn by Tapping in SG-1 (link) sold for $850.
Last but not least, the guided behind the scenes set visit and lunch with Tapping during the filming of Sanctuary in Vancouver (link) brought in $15,000.
That puts the total at $19,600. Both the Skype chat and set tour appear to have been won by the same bidder.
(Thanks to StevePadraic and David S for the tip!)
