Universe Episode 9 is ‘Justice’

We’ve just added another new episode title to the Stargate Universe Season One episode guide! The ninth episode of the new series is currently titled “Justice,” consulting producer Joseph Mallozzi revealed on his blog. (The title was initially reported to be “Judgment,” and quickly corrected.)
“Justice” is written by former SG-1 and Atlantis staffer Alan McCullough, who has penned such episodes as “Line In the Sand,” “The Daedalus Variations,” and “The Queen.”
So far we know next to nothing about the storyline for this episode, but Mallozzi has hinted in the past that it will deal with “shipboard justice and the ever-developing interrelations among the crew.”
The new title is in keeping with Universe’s pattern of one-word episode titles, but breaks the mold of the elemental titles set by “Air,” “Fire,” “Earth,” and “Water” in the first part of the freshman season.
Watch for “Justice” to air late in 2009, and keep your browser locked on GateWorld’s Stargate Universe Launch Center for the latest on the new series. SGU is now filming in Vancouver, British Columbia, and will premiere on the SCI FI Channel this fall.

It’d be cool to see futuristic toilets, beds, and bathroom on board lol.
Nyway, I wonder what the rules are going to be….
vanishingtorch | March 10 @ 10:59 pmAnd now to listen to a bunch of naysayers yell how much this rips off BSG.
Andddddd…. GO.
Hahaha, although, I have to admit, the amount of “I hate SGU on principle.” users have gone way down since developments have started coming in. I look forward to more of SGU’s development.

belperite | March 11 @ 8:29 amthe reason why the haters have left is because they have boy cotted this site and sci fi—jmo i can be wrong. the only reason why i come on here to see if there is anything new on the sga movies other than that i can care less about sgu or sci fi. well at least my other favorite show is back on the air and i cant wait until The Tudors start next month… now that is guilty pleasure!!!!
mrs john sheppard | March 11 @ 12:07 pmPlease do not tell me SGU is going to be like
Danybrean | March 12 @ 11:28 amBSG. I did not want to see SGU developements because of my loyalty towards SG1 but I began to imagine what it would be like. I hated BSG, just hated all the dreariness.
And what’s this about toilets….
Danybrean | March 12 @ 11:31 amIn any given space and time, NO ONE wants to see toilets.
there isnt much worry about it becomeing a BSG rip off, this is stargate, its core principle is to be a family friendly show, and have a bit of fun along the way, as long as there are story arcs that can be drawn out over 3-4 seasons, it will be great, that in my opinion is what was missing from atlantis, near the end they might aswell be dining with the wraith, you need a nice juicy story that you can dedicate 60-70% of the season to,

I only come on here to check the progress of sga movies aswell, sgu doesnt seem like the normal stargate to me give me sg1 or atlantis anyday. But i ll still give it a go because its stargate after all and it has been my number 1 show for the past few years.
tj90 | March 13 @ 11:34 amSame here I only come here to check up for any updates on the SG1 & SGA movies sg1&sga are the only stargate shows i’ll ever watch thank god we’ve got both of all seasons on dvd just waiting for season 5 of sga. not interested in the new series sorry
nudgeerulz | March 13 @ 8:23 pmAs far as I’m concerned, if those people are so stupid that they will boycott a show that hasn’t even aired yet, or even shown any commercials, or given any serious info on what the specific episodes will be about, will they can all go to heck.
We know some of the actors, we’ve seen half a dozen skech drawings, and now we have less than a dozen episode names. No scripts, no previews, no spoilers. Not one damned thing.
What the hell can you be so mad about. SG-1 got canceled yes. But it’s been gone for two years. SGA got cancelled, it still just aired its last episode less than 3 months ago. We know that two movies are in the works also.
I’m not advocating the show, or saying that it will be wonderful or seventh heaven. Because I can’t state that honestly. The reason why is simple. I haven’t seen any episodes yet. Why? The answer is simple. The episodes aren’t going to air for several months at least.
Maybe your right, maybe it will be bad. Maybe it will be the worst thing that has ever been on television. I don’t know.
But I’m going to actually watch an episode or two to find out before crusifying something.
Thoms | March 13 @ 9:09 pmI’m glad Peter’s on bord. I love the episodes he directs and it makes for an easier transition.
cpthandel | March 14 @ 6:15 pmI’ve had a bit of a love/hate relationship with SG-1 and Atlantis. I left for a season when Daniel ascended (the first time) and when Jack left I stopped watching completely. Then when Carson left (the real Carson) I couldn’t get over that either. I just hope the producers and writers don’t make the same mistakes. There’s already a lot of hostility towards this show and I’d hate it to die before it gets off the ground and shows us the Stargate franchise we love.
I’m also only here to read about the stargate atlantis movie. I read about the new show but it doesn’t interest me enough to watch it.
