GateWorld Podcast: 50th Episode Bash!

Visit the GateWorld Podcast page for more about the show!
It’s time to party! This week we’re celebrating not only our 50th episode of the GateWorld Podcast, but also one year of shouting our inane opinions via MP3. We’ve been meaning to bring on more guests than we have, so to make up for it we’re celebrating with three, count ‘em three very special guests. Stopping by are Justin Nolan, co-host of The 5th Race podcast; Michael Hinman, founder and site coordinator for Airlock Alpha; and Tame Farrar, moderator at GateWorld Forum. We’ll talk about everything from podcasting and the end of Atlantis (beware of SPOILERS) to reality TV and getting ready for Stargate Universe.
But before we pop the cork and start the party, we have another week’s round-up of Stargate news and new features at GateWorld. And listeners will get an exclusive preview of GateWorld’s next interview, with Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe visual effects supervisor Mark Savela!

Thanks for great pod casts! Found them 1 month ago and are really happy because I have so many to listen to back to back :D
daxmaryrussel | July 13 @ 12:16 pmAbout relationships in Stargate. I cannot say I mind them – but it shouldn’t be *all* about that. Didn’t like Sheppard “doing a Kirk” = having a girl on every planet in the beginning. That was tiresome… I think a show can sustain one “real relationship” like B’Elanna and Tom in ST:Voyager and like McKay & Keller.
Very subtle hints at romantic feelings are most interesting, sometimes you saw something between Sheppard & Weir, Sheepart & Teyla… and Sam & Jack – best one yet!
Phoned in earlier to say this but got a bit tongue tied, e.g. forgot Jack’s name which is truly bad.
Me again – al the way from Sweden.
daxmaryrussel | July 13 @ 12:30 pmJust like to add to podast 2 or 3, I think it would be good if you could say with a couple of words what an episode is about. I don’t know all the ep. names but I know all the stories… That info is better than “season 4 of SG1″… Just a thought
