Why did you not mention Tony Amendola who plays Gepetto in the fairy tale and the handyman in the real world?
And even James Bamford’s name appears at the ending credits of episode one as the Black knight. :)

You know I was just thinking the same thing. It was great to see him in it.

I agree with the first two and I even corrected this in the comments the LAST time you guys posted about this! I know they’re not lead stars, but they’re still Stargate alum and deserve to be mentioned. BamBam plays one of the Black Knights. Also, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying this show. I wasn’t planning on watching it initially but the previews intrigued me and its such a unique idea that it would either be A) a complete failure or B) a huge success. I think part of the appeal of the show is that its all characters we grew… Read more »

The show was indeed enjoyable. I am not an expert of fairy tales, but even I can see interesting spin on characters, especially those, who were one-dimensional villains.

Its funny, I think almost everyone was immediately (especially on a Stargate site) “this show won’t last more than a season, its a stupid idea” I know I was but I think we’ve all been pleasantly surprised. Nice to see ABC finding a genre show they can not only keep around, but has a unique and fresh idea we haven’t seen before.

Then there’s Grimm on NBC which after watching 20 minutes was not that great…

Yeah,Grimm really sucks. But this is a great news! I’m happy it held on to ratings in the second week cause I still remember 18 million for the premier of Sarah Connor Chronicles, then a dropp to 10 the 2nd week and 5 in the third.Unfortunately it never recovered from that.
Robert Carlyle is awesome in Once Upon a Time.Great thing;his role is just about to become much more prominent.

My wife and I are really enjoying OUaT so far. Glad to hear about a full season pickup.
Robert Carlyle is absolutely brilliant in this role.

Bobby is amazing as Rumple, and when he’s not in it, I quickly lose interest—even though I still watch. Kinda reminds me of another show called SGU, and I watched that one just as much, and it was still canceled because I didn’t live in America or owned a Neilson box. I’ve learned not to care too much about what comes on American Television, and see all of it is just a passing fad that’ll be canceled eventually.

@Coremae The fact that you dont live in the US,doesn’t make you that much different from Americans regarding the fate of tv shows nowdays.I have never in my life met a single member of a Nielsen family.Anyway as I’ve already wrote somewhere that system is so completely outdated and pointless it needs to be put where it belongs.History…ending with the 80’s in the past century. And even then it didn’t make too much sense.I’ve had dvr since 2002 and I’m defi nitely not the only one,not even the minority reg. that particular matter. Not to mention everything else that’s happened since then… Read more »

So far, so good – 4 episodes in, and it is doing rather well in the ratings.

Maybe I’ll get more than 1 season? Hopefully so!

Show has such potential and so far it’s only begun to tap into that vast source of amazing story material..with a contemporary twist,of course.Succesfully,I might add..but I fully expect so much more. Not that I’m being negative about the show thus far, quite the opposite..when I say expect,I actually mean joyfully anticipate what they’ve in store for us!
