Amanda Tapping’s ‘AT6′ convention coming in November

Gabit Events has announced AT6 – Ripples, the sixth U.K. convention featuring former Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis actress Amanda Tapping (“Samantha Carter”). The event will be held November 9 to 11, 2012 in London.
The AT events have proved extremely popular over the years, providing fans a chance to spend time with the actress in a small and personal setting. The events usually sell out quickly — at time of publication the Gabit Events Web site lists only seven tickets remaining.
The event also focuses on raising money for Tapping’s chosen charities, Sanctuary for Kids and Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. According to organizers, the events have raised somewhere around a quarter of a million dollars over the years.
In addition to her eleven years on the Stargate franchise, of course, Tapping currently stars as Dr. Helen Magnus on the Syfy original series Sanctuary (which she also executive produces). The show completed its fourth season in December and is awaiting word of renewal.

This will be my first Gabit event, and I’m super excited. :D I’m as eager to meet my friends, as I am to meet Amanda herself. :)
