Member of SG-4. Babbis was assigned to Colonel John Sheppard after the Atlantis expedition was forced to depart Atlantis at the request of Lanteans who had recently returned to the city.
While off-world, Babbis found himself inspecting curious alien wildlife he had discovered. The ground underneath, unstable, dropped away. He fell 20 feet into a babbling brook. Wallace, his teammate, attempted to come to his aid, but lost his own footing in the process.
Babbis came away unscathed, but Wallace broke an ankle.
