Colonel in the Russian military, once Miroslav Kiselev's Chief of Staff. Chernovshev was involved in a plot to sell a captured Goa'uld symbiote to elements of the Trust. He is likely directly responsible for implanting a Goa'uld symbiote in Kiselev's body, giving the Goa'uld direct control of the Russian military. He later questioned Dr. Daniel Jackson when he tried to gain access to Kiselev, warning him about Kinsey.
