A head officer in the Lord Protector's Guard, responsible for communicating the wishes of the Lord Protector and administering rule in accordance with his wishes. The Constable was not afraid to flog villagers who spoke ill of the Protector, and did not recognize the rights of women beyond sexual toys.
It was because of such an encounter with Petra that Ronon Dex killed the Constable for attempting to take her away and violate her.
