SG-12 team member who guarded the perimeter of P9G-844's Ancient transporter once it was discovered it had been rendered useless by a missing crystal. A deranged Volnek emerged and shot him with his staff weapon. His comrade, Stevens, did not survive the assault. Conway was taken back to the village for medical care by McKenzie.
