United States military helicopter pilot who served with John Sheppard's air group in Afghanistan. Mitch also flew with him, possibly as a co-pilot or as a medic. His chopper responded to a medical emergency outside of Kabul. When he touched the craft down a rocket-propelled grenade destroyed the vehicle, killing both him and Mitch.
There was barely enough of the corpses left to return to the U.S. for a military burial.
