Sylvana was under the impression that Heren was her date for the evening, but she soon discovered otherwise after he and Varina went to "explore the other exhibits." While engaging in a romantic encounter with Varina near the Great Ring exhibit, Heren and she discovered that they were not alone. SG-1 -- rebels, as far as they were concerned -- had arrived.
