Young Athosian, the son of Halling. As the Athosians have used the Stargate for travel to other worlds, Jinto is familiar with a multitude of Stargate addresses. He and his friend, Wex, routinely played in the woods of Athos, but were told not to do so after dark. The boys were the first Athosians encountered by the humans from Earth when they visited his world. Following a Wraith culling on Athos, Jinto and the other surviving Athosians moved to the Atlantis base. A few weeks later, they relocated to the newly-discovered continent on the Atlantis planet near the island city, in order to start a new life.
