Major in the U.S. Air Force and commander of SG-15, ordered to P3X-888 when Daniel Jackson was captured by the Unas, Chaka. A year later Pierce was ordered to investigate the possibility that the Aschen home world was, in fact, a planet General Hammond had ordered locked out of the dialing computer seven months prior to making contact with the advanced race. The President himself called off Pierce's mission in fear of upsetting the Aschen while negotiations were commencing. The following year Pierce arrived at the Alpha Site with a battalion of Tok'ra from the Risa System after their base had fallen to the Goa'uld. He was present when an ashrak preyed upon the installation and went out on patrol with Teal'c and Bra'tac in an attempt to hunt it down. A short time later the Major was assigned to guard the Stargate from aliens who might wish to escape the planet. It was later learned that these aliens, the Serrakin, were actually a crew for a prison transport vessel attempting to ferry several criminals to their destination. Pierce was sent with SG-1 to protect a world that would soon be visited by one of Baal's underlords, Mot. He plotted strategic locations with Jack O'Neill for the purpose of concealment until the troops arrived, but unfortunately the Goa'uld arrived a day early. While defending the Stargate, he was shot in the back. Pierce eventually became a Colonel in charge of the new Alpha Site that was built inside a mountain face. When Teal'c arrived from off-world he updated him on a new situation: Earth was inaccessible, and when an IDC would go through a transmission would return as "Do Not Proceed." Pierce feared Earth may have been compromised, but more information soon became available. The N.I.D. had stolen Earth's Stargate and were using it to administer the Tok'ra symbiote poison to Goa'uld-occupied worlds. PLAYED BY - Rob Lee FIRST APPEARED - The First Ones
