Bedrosian military commander. Rigar's hatred for Optricans stretches beyond rational though. He he studied the Book of Nefertum cover-to-cover and determined that it is true, that Nefertum created Humans on Bedrosia and did not, as the Optricans believe, originate through a great portal from a far-away world. Rigar captured SG-1 and the Bedrosian Nyan after Mallin, the latter's associate archaeologist, turned the group in to the authorities. Rigar held them for questioning, believing entirely that they were part of some elaborate Optrican pretense.
