Airman stationed at Stargate Command during General Jack O'Neill's first days as commander of the base. Rush was sent to the Gate Room when the General became concerned that there was something wrong with Dr. Daniel Jackson, who was about to leave the base with SG-11.
When Anubis, in Daniel's body, demanded that the Stargate be reopened, he shot Rush in the right arm -- and another airman in the upper leg -- when his wish was not granted.
