Member of SG-12 who traveled to P3X-403 to provide backup to a mining team. This group was mining the planet for naquadah deposits. They had been unaware that Unas still thrived on this world. During Woeste's time on the planet, negotiations were ongoing, but when he killed an Unas himself, hopes of this quickly collapsed.
Woeste, on patrol, believed that an approaching Unas planned to harm him, when the Unas was more likely after an anti-penetration necklace that he left on the ground nearby. Woeste quickly shot him, causing the entire tribe unanimously consider the Earth teams a threat.
