Abbot of Proculus who was the first to greet Major John Sheppard's unit when they visited his world. Zarah was unable to comprehend visitors from other worlds and initially assumed that the travelers were from a far land. His beliefs in Athar were unwavering.
Zarah took Sheppard's team to see Chaya Sar and listened in on their conversation with the High Priestess. He was very opposed to Chaya visiting the city of Atlantis, but she overruled him and went anyway.
