CHIMERA OPTICS PROJECTION SYSTEM
Fully functioning Asgard hologram system. Three scanners are mounted on tripods and triangulated, allowing multiple objects to be projected virtually. The first "demonstration" of the technology was in the form of the Asgard Thor broadcasting himself onto Inside Access with Julia Donovan in 2005.
In an attempt to fake a "process of development" with the technology, Colonel Samantha Carter informed the Applied Technologies 2007 conference that further research and development of the hardware "has provided longer range, better verisimilitude and more control over image projection."
