ELECTROMAGNETIC PULSE
A powerful field of energy emitted by an electromagnetic generator. In theory, an electromagnetic pulse could deactivate a Stargate destroyer on the opposite side of an incoming wormhole. This theory was proved false, as the device cut the deadline time in half, disabling the generator.

Redemption, Part 2 - An electromagnetic pulse is launched into the event horizon of the incoming Stargate in hopes of stopping Anubis' Stargate destroyer, but the device is only damaged in the process.
