Experimental prototype weapon designed by Dr. Jay Felger and his lab assistant, Chloe. Chloe believes the energy-based weapon is more similar, in principle, to Star Trek's photon torpedo than phasers. The plasma weapon is intended to replace missiles on the X-303, but Felger's first attempt to present the weapon to his superiors resulted in a massive power failure. The weapon is not yet ready for deployment. The failure of the plasma weapon led to Dr. Felger's rapid development of the Avenger computer virus.
