The Lucian Alliance is a group of thieves and mercenaries who organized after the downfall of the Goa'uld, taking control of their ships for their own interests ("The Ties That Bind"). When Ha'tak motherships attack the Icarus Base in the series premiere, "Air, Part 1," there is speculation among the Destiny crew that it might be the Lucian Alliance. The appearance of a Lucian Alliance character at the end of the first year may lend credence to that theory. Actress Rhona Mitra (Nip/Tuck, Boston Legal) has been cast in the role of Kiva, Syfy announced. She will appear in the final three episodes of the season. (GateWorld news report) NEW!
