Russian agent designated as a target by U.S. black ops forces in 1982, including Colonel John Michaels, Captain Jack O'Neill, Charles Kawalsky, and Thomas. He was be kept in an East Germany safe house during the day and moved underground after dark. Michaels' team failed to retrieve him, resulting in the death of the mission leader.
