Alteran descendent, Ver Egen villager and closet historian. Harrid had a wife, Sallis. His body was taken over by Dr. Daniel Jackson, confirming their beliefs that the stones they hid were communication devices.

Daniel, in Harrid's body, was forced to watch as Sallis's body was burned to death on the Ara. Vala Mal Doran had given away the fact that she was not Sallis. However, following her death a Prior arrived and restored her flesh. He took them to the city of Celestis where Daniel, in Harrid's body, was granted an audience with the Doci and the Ori.

When Dr. Jackson had finished his discussions, he and Vala / Sallis were returned to Ver Eger. After uncovering Fannis as a heretic for believing in a history that contradicted the Book of Origin, Harrid and Sallis were placed on the Ara and killed.
