Inhabitants of a desert and grassland planet who have recently lost their false god since the Goa'uld have been removed from power.

The S.G.C. sent Anthropologist Dr. Lindsay to console the people and help get them back on their feet. During this period, an Ori Prior visited the village and began teaching them the ways of the Book of Origin.

Having just gotten over the loss of a previous god, Dr. Lindsay, in concern for the people, contacted Earth. Stargate Command sent Colonel Mitchell and SG-12, who escorted the Prior back to the S.G.C., away from the inhabitants.
