Tiernods

A primitive race of humans, possibly under the protection of the Asgard Protected Planets Treaty. Tiernods live amongst a number of predators, and reside near caves. If a Tiernod were to be chased by a predator, he or she could enter one of these caves and apply an Asgard invisibility device to their bodies, effectively shielding them from the ferocious creatures.

Note: The Tiernods were designed and evidently photographed, but the scene in which they appear was cut from the episode. Images of the Tiernods appear variously in marketing materials, DVD menus, trading cards, etc.
