I am a baby-boomer who developed an interest in sci fi at an early age. While I missed out on the "Drive In Movie" phase, I have very fond memories of Saturday afternoons at the local theater. Living in pre-cable TV NorthEastern USA, I am very appreciative of the many old Independent and local affiliate tv stations which offered programming for sci fi fans (Chiller Theater, Million Dollar Movie, The Late Show, Picture for a Sunday/Saturday Afternoon, The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, WOR Channel 9, WPIX Channel 11, WNEW Channel 5, etc.). I am at the point, where I enjoy studying the history and evolution of the sci fi genre (including the significant impact it has had on American Society) as much as the movies and programs themselves.
